A Safe Learning Space for Refugees Coming to Milwaukee
Located on the South Side of Milwaukee, the International Community Center (ICC) provides a safe learning space for refugees coming into Milwaukee.
We love and welcome refugees and internationals in a variety of ways, from teaching English, child care, visiting homes, and helping kids with homework. The center is open Monday-Friday, with lessons for those with all levels of English functional language skills and conversation.
At the ICC, we focus on three areas: language, tutoring, and community. We want to walk with you on your journey to joining our community here in Milwaukee. One of the first steps is learning and gaining confidence in language. We also offer citizenship classes by appointment, and homework help for middle and high school students.
Embrace the opportunity to create positive change by volunteering at the International Community Center.
Your compassion and dedication can make a profound difference in the lives of refugees and internationals seeking to build a new home in Milwaukee.
